This 5 Day Uganda wildlife adventure is one of Uganda’s wildlife adventure experiences that will take you to some of the country’s outstanding and exciting wildlife destinations. This safari will take you to one of the country’s popular tourist destinations, including Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for the tree-climbing lions, and Lake Mburo National Park for a game drive. You will take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel after driving to the Mweya Peninsula. For those who enjoy wildlife safaris, this trip offers the best adventure experience!  It will also take you to Lake Mburo National Park for the rare zebra and impala, which are rarely found in other parks of the country. Other wildlife species to see include the Rothschild’s giraffes, topis, elands, buffalo, spotted hyenas, giraffes, and many others. This adventure will offer you adventurous activities such as game drive, boat cruise, community visit, and others.

  • Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park- Game drive

    Get up early, have your breakfast, and then travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way, you will have a stopover at the equator landmark for a water experiment where the forces of movement split the earth into two hemispheres before continuing with your journey to the park. Upon reaching the park, you will be welcomed by the top highlights of several browsers such as the impalas, zebras, elands, jackals, buffaloes, topis and giraffes and others. Check into your booked hotel and later go for an evening game drive to search for the stunning wildlife dominated by predators and other nocturnal animals such as leopards, giant forest hogs, bush babies, civet cats, and other predators. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park-Ishasha sector (Tree Climbing Lions)

    Rise up and have an early breakfast and then drive to the second largest national park in Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a wide range of wildlife species, including the remarkable tree climbing lions, big game mammals such as buffaloes, elephants, and leopards, among others. In the Ishasha section of the park, you will look out for the famous tree-climbing lions lounging or climbing tree branches, an experience that is found only in Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kruger National Park in South Africa, and Tanzania’s Lake Manyara. Later, you will check  in at the lodge, have dinner, and an overnight.

  • Day 3: Game drive and Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel

    Wake up early and start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains- northern part of the park, where you will see several wildlife species such as leopards, lions, elephants, hippos, warthogs, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and several water birds. After retiring, have your packed breakfast and then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will go on a boat safari on the Kazinga channel where you will see several land mammals like buffaloes, elephants, topis, waterbucks, and several bird species such as the African Jacana, Yellow-billed Stork, Saddle-billed Stalk, African Fish Eagle, African Skimmer, and many others. Other water species to see include the crocodiles, monitor lizards, and hippos, among others. After this experience, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park- Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe

    Following a leisurely breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala, making stopovers for scenic views of the landscape, such as natural land forms like crater lakes, Kyambura gorge, and dotted savannah grasslands. The trip to Kampala is lengthy, but expect total fun since you will see lots of communities and adorable kids waving and grinning at you along the way.  You will have lunch en route at Ishanyi Food Centre in Mbarara, arriving late in the evening for relaxation. Have dinner and overnight at your hotel

  • Day 5: Departure at Entebbe International Airport

    Wake up at your leisure, have breakfast, and bid fare well to the pearl of Africa by checking out of the hotel and getting transferred by your driver guide to Entebbe International Airport to meet your return flight.
