Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to Kampala City
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our company representative and driving guide will warmly welcome you and greet you. After you will be transferred to your booked lodge for relaxation and refreshment, followed by a briefing about your safari package. In case time allows, you may take an evening city tour to historical landmarks like the Uganda Museum, Kasubi tombs, and Amin’s torture chambers. This will provide insight into Ugandan history.

Day 2: Kampala City – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Transfer to Murchison Falls NP – Evening hiking to the top of the Falls
The journey begins with breakfast and travels northwest along Bombo Road, passing through the Luwero Triangle. The destination is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where visitors can encounter the gentle giants in their natural environment. The ranger guides the white rhino tracking experience, allowing visitors to explore and learn about their behaviors and lifestyle. After lunch, the journey continues to Murchison Falls National Park, where visitors can witness the world’s strongest waterfalls. The Nile River squeezes down a narrow gorge, exploding into thunderous waterfalls. The journey ends with a transfer to a hotel for dinner and the night.

After breakfast, head on a morning game drive to the northern parts of the park, observing diverse animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, Kobs, Jackson hartebeest, and various bird species. After lunch, take a boat cruise safari upstream on the Victoria Nile, stopping near the “Devil’s Cauldron.” Admire the crocodile-friendly hippos and other wildlife along the 17km stretch. Land on the lakeshore and take a break before continuing the evening game drive to find the park’s large predators, including spotted hyenas, lions, and leopards. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Murchison Falls NP – Transfer to Kibale Forest NP – Evening Bigodi Swamp nature walk
After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest National Park, home to the largest concentration of primates in East Africa, including over 13 species, including 1450 chimpanzees. The park features rare species like I’Hoest’s monkey and other species. After checking in at your lodge, head to Bigodi Swamp Sanctuary for an evening community nature walk, observing plant, bird, primates, and tree species in the tropical rain forest. Interact with locals to learn about their culture and activities. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5; Kibale National Park – Morning Chimp Trekking – Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Kasoga community walk
Wake up early and have breakfast. Drive to the park information center for briefings on chimpanzee tracking rules and regulations, then begin a forest walk to find chimpanzees. This guided walk provides information about chimpanzees and other primates, as well as small organisms. You may see other primates like Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, blue monkeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and Vervet monkeys. After tracking, return to the lodge for refreshments, lunch, and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you can see various mammals, birds, and reptiles. Check into your lodge and visit the Kasoga community to learn about their cultural and marine practices. Have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, head for a morning game drive to look for wildlife along the Kasenyi route in the park. Elephants, warthogs, waterbuck, Uganda kob, lions, hyenas, buffalo, and a variety of birds are frequently sighted here. Before continuing on your afternoon boat tour across the well-known Kazinga Channel, have a little lunch stop. Numerous bird species, large numbers of Nile crocodiles, and the largest hippo population in Africa can all be found in the Channel. In particular, get ready for your nighttime game to look for large predators like lions and leopards, among others. After retiring, spend the night and dine at the lodge.

Then, head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas. After your adventure, check in at your hotel, relax, and if you have time, stroll through the town or shop for souvenirs. Have dinner and spend the night.

Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Morning gorilla trekking –Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Evening canoeing
Today marks the highlight of your 10-day gorilla and wildlife adventure. Start your day early with breakfast and go to the park’s information center for a morning briefing before the gorilla tracking exercise. The tracking will take about 2-7 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s movements. During your trek, you may encounter other primates like chimpanzees and various monkey species including L’hoest monkey, red-tailed monkey, black and white Colobus monkey, and others. Once you find the mountain gorillas, you will observe them for an hour. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch, then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, a place of comfort and natural beauty known for its bird species. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park – Night game drive
After breakfast with great memories of mountain gorillas, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the best place to see the giant eland antelope, zebras, topis, impalas, and various birds. Enjoy a trip to your lodging and look out for wildlife like leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, and Rothschild giraffes. Relax at the lodge before going on a night game drive to see animals such as spotted hyenas and jackals. Return to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 10, Lake Mburo NP – Morning game drive – Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Start the day with breakfast before going on a horse-riding safari. Enjoy a guided 2-hour nature walk with an armed ranger to see local wildlife like zebras, giraffes, and buffalo. Take photos to capture this memorable experience. Afterward, return to your lodge for another breakfast before heading to Entebbe International Airport. On your way, travel through the Ankole region, known for its long-horned cattle, and stop at the Kayabwe Equator landmark for a photo and to see the equator water experiment. After lunch, continue to Kampala/Entebbe for your return flight.
