4-day gorilla trekking and wildlife adventure starts from Kampala or Entebbe at your hotel. This adventure safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park with Ganda Cultural Expeditions. This trip blends both mountain gorilla tracking and restricted game viewing. Start your adventure with game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular national park, known for its rich biodiversity, including diverse wildlife. You will enjoy a boat ride along the Kazinga channel, game viewing, and sight viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The tour ends in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience.

  • Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park-Afternoon Boat Cruise

    Wake up early in the morning, prepare and have breakfast at the hotel and drive to western Uganda with en-route lunch in Mbarara town at Ishanyi Food Centre. After lunch, proceed along the Bushenyi-Kasese highway to arrive in time for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This is home to the highest concentration of hippos in Africa, with huge crocodiles and 6o1 bird species. Dinner and overnight at your booked lodge.

  • Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

    Wake up early, have breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the northern part of Kasenyi plains, in search of the African Elephant, buffalo, Lions, spotted hyenas, Leopards, and several antelopes.  After, transfer to the Ishasha sector where you will spot some other wildlife species. Have lunch enroute and after transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home for the endangered mountain gorillas. You may arrive in the evening, check in at your booked lodge, relax, and spend your evening at leisure.  Have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  • Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience- Batwa Cultural visit

    Wake up and prepare for the day’s highlight, have your heavy breakfast, and assemble at park headquarters for a 30-minute briefing. Gorilla trekking takes 2-7 hours, depending on their movements. The hike goes through steep terrain and slippery jungle grounds before encountering gorillas camouflaged in dense vegetation. However, the thrill you get is worth the effort put in when searching for these endangered mountain gorillas.  Upon seeing mountain gorillas, you will spend an hour observing these endangered species. After returning to the lodge for lunch. In the evening, you may have an evening cultural encounter with the Batwa cultural experience, where you will interact with the Batwa people as you learn about their traditions, norms, and values.

  • Day 4: Return to Kampala / Entebbe International Airport

    Rise up early, have breakfast, and embark on a picnic drive back to Kampala with an en-route stop at Kayabwe Equator landmark, take photos, and purchase souvenirs. And after proceeding with your journey to Kampala / Entebbe to meet your return flight or your hotel.
