This 4 Day Uganda Cultural Tour is a short trip especially for cultural lovers with limited time and passion to explore the country’s rich cultural heritage. This offers you a chance to have a deeper understanding about the cultures in both western and central Uganda. You will have a chance to explore Buganda’s culture, one of the ancient monarchies in Africa, and later visit the Batooro in Fort Portal, a beautiful town with cool weather so rewarding, then end up with a visit to Ankole Culture, the land of milk and honey.

    After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, our safari driver will pick you up and then visit the Buganda Kingdom’s King’s palace to learn its history and see the torture chamber linked to Idi Amin Dada. Then, go to the national museum and craft center on Buganda Road to buy souvenirs. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day 2: Transfer to Fort Portal Town

    Wake up early, have your delicious breakfast, and transfer to Fort Portal, about 5 5-hour drive as you enjoy the breathtaking views of the country side.  Reach in time for lunch, then visit the Tooro Kingdom king’s palace to learn about its history, traditions, norms, and values. Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 3: Transfer to Mbarara City at Igongo Cultural Centre

    Wake up at leisure and have breakfast, then transfer to Mbarara to learn about the Ankole culture and traditions. Visit the Igongo cultural museum in Mbarara, where you will have a deeper understanding of the Ankole customs and practices, enjoy traditional Ugandan meals, and later drive back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day 4: Departure- Return to Kampala

    After breakfast, you will return to Kampala, have a stop at the equator landmark for a water experiment and photography. After, proceed with your journey to Kampala/ Entebbe to be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe Airport for your return flight home.
