An unexpected pleasure..... - I went into the Cultural Center not expecting to leave with a piece of Tanzanite jewelry. After looking at what I considered nondescript or flashy stones/pendants, the owner's wife spoke... read more to him softly and he turned around and produced a unique, one of a kind pendant with an emerald cut stone in an 18k gold setting. No diamonds, no embellishments, just a well cut good quality stone in a custom bar setting which looked just elegant. I walked out with a unique piece and a momento of my time in Tanzania .
